Variable day, evening, and night shifts, including schedules such as 7 a.m.–7 p.m., 9 a.m.–9 p.m., 11 a.m.–11 p.m., 1 p.m.–1 a.m., 3 p.m.–3 a.m., and 7 p.m.–7 a.m. Weekend Rotation: Every other weekend Holiday Rotation: Potential coverage the night before holidays and on holidays Patient Ratio: Approximately 1:4 Charting: Epic experience within the past year required Floating: May be required to support regional facilities within approximately 60 miles Travel

At least one completed travel assignment required Emergency Room Registered Nurse Requirements Current Wisconsin Registered Nurse (RN) license At least 3 years of professional nursing experience At least 2 years of recent Emergency Room or Emergency Department nursing experience Emergency Department triage experience strongly preferred Current AHA BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications Associate degree or nursing certificate required Bachelor of Science in Nursing strongly preferred Ability to work variable 12-hour shifts, rotating weekends, and potential holiday assignments Solid black scrubs required Emergency Department RN Responsibilities Deliver safe, timely, and compassionate nursing care to patients presenting with emergency and acute conditions Perform focused assessments, emergency triage, patient monitoring, medication administration, and ongoing reassessments Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately to emergent needs Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and ancillary team members to coordinate patient care Document assessments, interventions, and patient outcomes accurately in Epic Support emergency procedures, patient stabilization, education, discharge planning, and transfers Maintain compliance with clinical standards, patient safety protocols, and department policies Provide flexible nursing coverage across regional facilities when needed Apply now to join this Wisconsin travel nursing opportunity and make a difference as an Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Appleton!
