Float Pool RN – Med Surg/Telemetry Minimum 24 months of experience in PCU, Stepdown, Med Surg, Telemetry, or Med Surg/Telemetry required. Must float across Med Surg, Behavioral Health (BH), ED, ICU, and post-procedural units as needed. No home unit.

First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of nursing experience; hospital/medical center experience preferred. Required proficiency with heparin, insulin, Lasix, amiodarone, diltiazem, and digoxin drips. Must confidently interpret EKG/ECG rhythms, rhythm strips, and dysrhythmias.

EPIC EMR experience required.

BLS and ACLS (AHA) required. Additional

De-escalation certification (CPI, MOAB, MAB, or SAMA) preferred and may be obtained during onboarding. NIHSS preferred and may also be obtained during onboarding. License: Active Iowa RN license required; compact license accepted.
