We are seeking experienced Registered Nurses for long-term contract opportunities on an inpatient Hematology/Oncology unit in Topeka, Kansas. This is a 21-bed unit caring for patients with hematologic and oncology diagnoses, inpatient chemotherapy needs, palliative and end-of-life care, tracheostomies, symptom management, and other complex medical conditions. Typical staffing ratios are 1:6, or 1:4 when active chemotherapy is infusing.
Work Order Intake Form- CareCar Requirements Active RN license BLS certification ADN or BSN Minimum 1 year of acute-care nursing experience Oncology or Hematology experience preferred Chemotherapy certification preferred Epic experience preferred Schedule & Assignment Details 12-hour shifts 36 guaranteed hours per week Day and night shift opportunities Every-other-weekend rotation Holiday rotation required Floating to other Med/Surg inpatient units may be required No call requirements Minimum 26-week commitment, with assignments available up to 52 weeks
