Pride Health is actively hiring a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our client's Home Health Team. Location: Hot Springs, AR 71913Pay Rate: $55.00–$60.00/hour (W-2)

8-hour shiftsGuaranteed Hours: 40 hours/weekContract Duration: 14 weeks (Potential for an Extension)EMR: Homecare Homebase (HCHB) Position Overview:We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide skilled speech and language therapy services to patients in a home health setting. The SLP will evaluate patients, develop individualized Plans of Care, provide therapeutic interventions, and educate patients and caregivers to promote functional independence.

Key

Conduct comprehensive speech, language, and communication evaluations and assess the home environment as appropriate. Identify functional speech, language, and communication deficits and develop individualized Plans of Care (POC). Provide skilled speech-language therapy using appropriate therapeutic techniques and specialized equipment.

Recommend communication devices, aids, and other adaptive resources when indicated. Coordinate care with referring physicians and other clinical staff to ensure comprehensive patient care. Document patient assessments, treatment, progress, and ongoing need for skilled services.

Educate patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic activities, communication strategies, and resources that support continued functional independence. Identify additional patient and caregiver needs and make appropriate referrals to other services. Participate in case conferences, in-services, and other required clinical meetings.

May supervise home health aides regarding procedures directly related to the speech-language therapy Plan of Care. Required

  • Master's degree in Speech
  • Language Pathology from an accredited program meeting ASHA certification requirement.Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech
  • Language
  • Hearing Association (ASHA), or CCC eligibility.Current state license as required.Current CPR certification.Valid driver's license.Reliable transportation and proof of required auto insurance.Home health experience preferred.Homecare Homebase (HCHB) experience preferred/required.
