7 Days On / 7 Days Off Rotation Weekday On-Call: 4:30 PM - 8:00 AM Weekend On-Call: Saturday 12:00 AM - Monday 8:00 AM On Call rate: $3.00/Hour (W-2) Call back/OT rate: 1.5 times of regular pay.

We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) to provide on-call hospice care for patients and families throughout the Springfield service area. The RN will deliver skilled end-of-life nursing care, respond to urgent patient needs, perform hospice visits, and collaborate closely with the interdisciplinary team to ensure comfort-focused, patient-centered care. Provide on-call hospice nursing care and respond to urgent patient and family needs during assigned shifts. Conduct patient assessments, symptom management visits, and clinical interventions focused on comfort and quality of life. Coordinate care with physicians, hospice aides, social workers, chaplains, and other interdisciplinary team members.

Participate in daily weekday stand-up meetings and care coordination discussions. Deliver patient and caregiver education regarding disease progression, symptom management, medications, and end-of-life care. Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation.

Required Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) License. Current BLS Certification. Hospice Experience Required.

Valid Driver's License, Reliable Transportation, and Auto Insurance. Strong assessment, communication, and crisis-management skills.
