We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to serve as a House Supervisor in Rochester, New York. This is a travel/contract position with guaranteed 40 hours per week and an 8-hour day shift schedule (5 shifts per week). Shifts may include 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, 3:30 PM to 11:30 PM, or 11:30 PM to 7:30 AM, including weekends and holidays as needed.
As the House Supervisor, you will oversee operations for a 311+ bed facility, including the Emergency Department, Family Birthplace, Surgical Services, 14 medical-surgical units, and a 20-bed ICU. You will collaborate with ICU charge nurses, providers, and off-shift nurse managers to ensure seamless operations, contributing to a high standard of patient care and workplace safety. This role requires a candidate with strong leadership and crisis management skills, as well as expertise in code management, infection control, and risk management.
The position involves supervising nursing care across units, managing staffing requirements, and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of experience, current ACLS and BLS certifications, and proficiency in EPIC EMR. This role does not accept first-time travelers or locals within 75 miles.
Navy blue or white scrubs are required.
