Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse (ICU RN) Insight Hospital and Medical Center Chicago is seeking a compassionate and experienced Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to provide exceptional care for critically ill patients in a fast-paced critical care environment. The ICU RN is responsible for assessing, monitoring, and treating patients with complex medical conditions while collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to deliver safe, high-quality, patient-centered care.
- Full-time or Part-time, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM–7:30 AM) Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, and provide care for critically ill patients.
- Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions.
- Operate and monitor critical care equipment, including ventilators and other life-support devices.
- Monitor patient status, recognize changes in condition, and respond to medical emergencies.
- Perform wound care, maintain accurate documentation, and ensure compliance with regulatory and quality standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and families and support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Qualifications
- Current Illinois RN license.
- ADN required; BSN or MSN preferred.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.
- Minimum 2 years of ICU or critical care nursing experience (PACU experience considered).
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and emergency response skills. Benefits
