ICU - Intensive Care Unit (RN)

11/16 start only ICU RN 4D - ECMO exp preferred, but not required This position will not accept local candidates. Dysrhythmia Exam Required (Study Guide Available) 2 years of ICU exp required. Must have ACLS, BLS & NIHSS Would be expected to float to other levels of as needed 12 HR Nights, EOW, EOH Unit Specific Details 24 Bed Unit, 4D and 4B Alaris pumps, Vents, CPAP BiPap, pressors bonus items: IABP, EVD, ICP, TVP, CRRT, impella, SWAN, ECMO High Acuity, Neuro, Cardiac, postsurgical.

Ratios 1:2-3* Overflow can flex up to 36 beds. Provider coverage: Intensivist resident and hospitalist team of two mid-levels and two residents on nights. Rapid response team, a resource RN and house supervisor on 24/7.

Scheduling: The first schedule is added to the end of the schedule period based on need, but we take preferences in to account and meet them the best that we can; block schedule, 3 in row, not three in a row etc. Then, they can self-schedule at the next opening.
