• Number of Beds : 16
• Patient Ratios : 1:1 (critically ill), 1:2
• Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) : Call for 9 nurses and 1 PCT when full. 24/7 unencumbered experienced Charge Nurses. Unit Educator during weekdays. Clinical Support Coordinator on mid-shifts. Pharmacist on unit during dayshift.
• Type of equipment : Ventilators, CRRT, Hemosphere, Impella, ICP monitors, Arterial/CVC lines
• Documentation system: Meditech
• Scheduling

Self-scheduling. Days: every 4th weekend, 2 Mondays and 2 Fridays per schedule. Nights: 4 weekend shifts per schedule (Fri, Sat, Sun night) • On Call

Thrombectomy-Capable Stroke Center Hiring profile Requested Skill Set: Critical care experience required, strong communication skills, ability to collaborate with interdisciplinary team, vent management, experience with sedation/vasopressors/blood products, comfort with goals of care conversations Must have : Team focused attitude Advanced skills needed: Neuro ICU experience a bonus 😊 Procedures performed on unit: Cardioversion, PEG placements, EGD, bronchs, EVD placement, chest tube insertion, central line/art line placement, Rapid Sequence Intubation Certifications Required: BLS, ACLS
