Quick Look ARMStaffing is looking for a Registered Nurse, Cardiac Thoracic Intensive Care Unit (Day Shift) in Brooklyn, New York. Location Brooklyn, NY Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule/Shift 3 × 11.5 hr shifts, Day Shift (07:00 – 19:30)
The Cardiothoracic Intensive Care Unit (CTICU) at Maimonides Medical Center is a highly specialized critical care environment focused on the management of adult and geriatric cardiac patients. Nurses in this unit provide advanced monitoring, complex medication management, ventilator support, and various invasive cardiac therapies for critically ill patients with conditions such as STEMI and NSTEMI. Responsibilities Provide specialized nursing care for critically ill cardiac patients.
Perform advanced hemodynamic monitoring and vasoactive medication titration. Manage ventilator support and perform airway management tasks. Administer blood products and manage critical care medications.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient interventions. Required Experience Active State RN License. Minimum of 1 year of recent Critical Care experience.
Previous travel experience required. Proficiency in 12-Lead EKG Interpretation and telemetry interpretation. Experience with cardiac/circulatory skills and critical care medications.
