12H Night Start Date: 11/02/2026 Duration: 13 weeks We are seeking a dedicated and skilled RN to join our ICU team at a leading acute-care hospital in Columbus, NE. This position is critical to cover maternity leave and orientations, ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care. Located in the heart of Nebraska, this community-owned, not-for-profit hospital provides top-level health care close to home.
The facility serves the residents of Platte County and surrounding areas, offering both primary care and specialist services without the need for travel to larger cities. The hospital is led by a local board of directors and boasts a medical staff of more than 50 active members, along with over 900 employees and the support of more than 260 volunteers. This is a Level 3 Trauma Facility with a 9-bed ICU unit, which may extend to 12 beds if necessary.
The patient population includes those on ventilators, surgical complications, Cath Lab patients (impella and balloon pumps), hypo-oxygenation, and patients on various drips. The ICU also cares for pediatric patients, with a ratio of 1:1-2. Join a great team culture and work with up-to-date equipment.
