Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 30, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a mixed MICU/SICU/Neuro ICU night shift position requiring a CA RN license and Epic EMR experience. Details Mixed ICU setting covering Medical ICU, Surgical ICU, and Neuro ICU Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts from 19:00 to 7:30 13-week assignment Patient ratio of 1:2 Requirements Active CA RN license required in-hand at time of application (EMSA not accepted) Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required Minimum 1 year of experience in an acute care setting required Minimum 1 year of full-time equivalent specialty experience within the past 2 years required Required
ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Epic EMR experience required and must be documented in work history Prior charge nurse experience preferred Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I/II experience preferred Two supervisor references required for consideration Skills in critical care areas such as ventilator management, arterial line management, central/PICC line care, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, and neurological monitoring preferred Additional Information Provide critical care nursing across mixed ICU populations including cardiovascular, neurological, respiratory, and renal cases Responsibilities may include management of ventilated patients, EVDs, ICP monitoring, hemodynamic monitoring, and administration of blood products Prior travel nursing experience required unless otherwise noted Local candidates accepted at the same rate Previous employees must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible to return as a traveler No RTO permitted within the first two weeks of the assignment, with a maximum of 7 days of RTO preferred per 13-week contract Screenshot confirmation of requested RTO required at time of application
