Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 2, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a high acuity Stepdown Unit position requiring 1 year of ICU experience and NJ or compact RN licensure. Details High acuity Stepdown Unit (SDU) setting within a hospital 12-hour night shifts (7p-7a), 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly Every 3rd weekend required Floating as needed to units within the facility or sister hospital On-call responsibilities required Uses EPIC charting system Requirements Active NJ or compact RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred EPIC EMR experience preferred Additional Information Provide direct patient care across the continuum from pediatric to geriatric populations Perform systematic, comprehensive patient assessments and maintain accurate documentation Follow National Patient Safety Goals, Universal Protocol, and safe patient handling techniques Support pre-operative and postoperative patient assessment and education Holiday coverage required for one winter and one summer holiday Locals accepted at a different pay rate
