Rotating, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 2, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 3 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Intensive Care Unit position requiring 3+ years of ICU experience, Cerner proficiency, and a DC RN license. Details Multidisciplinary ICU caring for neurological, neuro-surgical, medical, surgical, pulmonary, cardiology, cardiothoracic, and trauma patients Utilizes advanced critical care technology including ventilators, ventriculostomies, cardiac monitors, pulmonary artery catheters, arterial lines, central lines, PICC lines, IABP, ECMO/tandem heart, Impella, BIS monitors, continuous pulse oximetry, and CRRT 3x12 hour shifts on an AM/PM rotating schedule 36 hours per week Requirements Active DC RN license required BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only) NIHSS certification required Minimum 3 years of ICU experience required Minimum 2 years of prior work experience in a US hospital within the specialty required Cerner EMR experience required Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required BSN highly desired Two manager or supervisor references required, verifying most recent experience within the past 12 months, with at least one from the most recent employer Additional Information Perform a variety of patient care functions and tasks in accordance with licensure, certification, training, and regulatory requirements Must reside within 50 miles of the facility First-time travelers may be considered
