Nights, 4x12hrs Hours: 48 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 30, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Intermediate Care/Telemetry position requiring tele-oncology, cardiac, and vent/transplant experience at a Level I/II trauma academic medical center. Details Work in the IMC Acute Med/Progressive Care unit (D6/5) and IMC Thoracic unit (B4/3) Night shift, 4x12 hours, 7:00pm-7:30am Every other weekend required, with mandatory coverage on 12/24 and 12/25 Floating required as needed Uses Epic charting system Requirements Active WI RN or compact RN license required Current BLS and ACLS (AHA only) Minimum 2 years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty Experience in an Academic Level I or II trauma center or similar size hospital required Trauma Level I and Level II experience required Telemetry oncology, cardiac, and PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown experience required Ventilator and transplant experience required Must pass a telemetry exam with strict passing criteria prior to starting, including 100% identification of lethal rhythms and an 80% or higher overall score Skilled in IV therapy, central/peripheral line care, blood product administration, and ventilated patient care Experience with non-invasive airway management, oxygen administration, and tracheostomy care Previous travel RN experience required Additional Information Provide care for cardiac, oncology, and thoracic telemetry patients in a high-acuity stepdown environment Perform cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation, and rapid response coordination Includes post-transplant patient care Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted Facility is a Magnet-designated academic medical center ranked Wisconsin's #1 hospital Parking permit required for onsite parking, with alternative transportation options available
