Full employer posting

There is a Possibility of Contract to Hire. At this time this is 100% Remote. (Mythos Response) This role supports the Network Protection team's migration from legacy Cisco ASR infrastructure to Cisco FTD (Firepower Threat Defense) by owning data collection and scheduling coordination.

The analyst does not perform migration engineering, configuration, or cutover work; the position exists to keep engineers aligned, informed, and unblocked by handling the operational tracking that a technical migration of this scale requires. Data Collection Maintain an accurate, up-to-date inventory of all site-to-site VPN connections in scope for migration (currently tracked at roughly 283 total connections), including source system, destination, connection owner, and migration status.

Validate migration tracking data against the CMDB on a regular cadence, ensuring the CMDB remains the source of truth for connection and device records, and reconciling discrepancies between the migration tracker and CMDB entries with the appropriate engineer or asset owner. Collect and organize technical details from engineers (circuit IDs, IP schemas, tunnel parameters, dependencies) into a shared tracking format that the engineering team can reference during cutover planning.

Track migration status per connection (not started, in progress, testing, completed, rolled back) and flag discrepancies or stalled items to the team. Gather post-cutover validation notes and incident details from engineers to support a running record of what worked and what needed rework. Scheduling and Coordination Build and maintain the master migration schedule, sequencing connection cutovers in coordination with engineering leads to avoid conflicts with change freezes, business-critical windows, or dependent systems.

Schedule and help facilitate recurring migration sync meetings, including agenda prep pulled from the current data set. Send status reminders and follow-ups to engineers and stakeholders to keep documentation and timelines current. Coordinate change ticket timing with the appropriate change management process so cutovers are properly logged and approved before execution.
