You’ll need
Licensure
✓Exception: Bachelor of Pharmacy candidates licensed before 2003 with 3+ years hospital/ambulatory pharmacy experience
✓Active, unrestricted Alaska Pharmacist License
Certifications
✓Current BLS/BCLS certification
Education
✓Pharm.D. degree
Qualifications
✓Minimum 2 years of Pharmacist experience
✓Experience reviewing medications, labs, patient charts, drug interactions, contraindications, and allergies
✓Flu vaccination required
✓Must live 100+ miles from the facility to qualify as a traveler
✓Must be willing and able to complete fingerprinting promptly after acceptance
✓Must be available for weekends, holidays, and call
✓Strong medication dispensing, patient counseling, and clinical pharmacy skills
ASHP-recognized Pharmacy Residency preferred
Meditech experience preferred
Strong inpatient/hospital pharmacy background preferred
Hospital/Inpatient Pharmacy experience preferred
