Monday–Friday, Days Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a Travel Physical Therapist for a 13-week inpatient acute care assignment at Haskell Memorial Hospital in Haskell, Texas! This is an excellent opportunity for a PT who enjoys working in a hospital environment, helping patients recover from illness, injury and surgery, and making a meaningful difference in a close-knit rural community. Position Overview As an Inpatient Acute Care Physical Therapist, you'll evaluate and treat hospitalized patients experiencing mobility limitations related to illness, injury, surgery and other medical conditions. You'll collaborate with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans focused on improving mobility, strength, safety and functional independence. Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive physical therapy evaluations for hospitalized patients Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Provide therapeutic exercise, gait training and functional mobility activities Assist patients with bed mobility, transfers and ambulation Address strength, balance, endurance and mobility limitations Provide postoperative and medically appropriate rehabilitation Assess fall risks and implement patient safety strategies Educate patients and caregivers on mobility and discharge recommendations Collaborate with physicians, nursing, OT and other healthcare professionals Participate in discharge planning and maintain accurate clinical documentation Qualifications Active Texas Physical Therapist license or applicable PT Compact privilege Graduate of an accredited physical therapy program Inpatient acute care or hospital-based experience preferred Strong clinical assessment and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team About Haskell, Texas Located in north-central Texas, Haskell is a welcoming rural community known for its friendly atmosphere, historic small-town character and wide-open Texas landscapes.
