We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Progressive Care Unit. This role requires the ability to work evening and night shifts, particularly a 3x12 hour schedule from 19:00 to 07:30, with every other weekend and some holidays required. Alternative scheduling options, such as 4x12 shifts and weekend block scheduling, may be accepted.
Qualifications Current Registered Nurse license required. Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Medical-Surgical (MS), Telemetry (Tele), or Intermediate Care (IMC) role. Current AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications are mandatory.
Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Progressive Care Unit, ensuring their safety and comfort. Monitor and assess patient conditions, implementing appropriate interventions as needed. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and adjust individualized care plans.
Educate patients and their families regarding health conditions, treatment plans, and medications. Maintain accurate and comprehensive patient records in accordance with facility policies. Shift Requirements This position will require shifts during the evening and night hours, with scheduled rotations every other weekend and some holiday duties as needed.
