Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Dec 14, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an Interventional Radiology position requiring conscious sedation skills and ACLS certification. Details Work in the Interventional Radiology department on the ground floor of a hospital setting 225-bed facility with a 1:1 patient-to-RN ratio for invasive radiology procedures Uses Siemens Artis Z, Siemens Artis Q, and Philips EPIQ US imaging equipment Epic EMR used for charting Shift options include 5x8-hour shifts (Monday-Friday 8:00 AM-4:30 PM) or 4x10-hour shifts (7:00 AM-5:30 PM) On-call rotation required, shared among a team of 6 RNs Requirements Active RN license (IN or compact) required ACLS certification required Minimum 2 years of recent experience in interventional radiology required Must be comfortable performing conscious sedation under direct supervision of a radiologist Experience in Cath Lab, ED, or ICU settings preferred Additional Information Monitor patient vitals during invasive interventional radiology procedures Work collaboratively with a team of technologists and RNs to care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures Confident personality suited for group-based clinical environment Computer-based training and orientation completed prior to beginning clinical work Light blue surgical scrubs supplied by the facility Candidates must reside within a 50-mile radius to qualify for local candidate consideration at a reduced bill rate
