Days, 4x10hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 16, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Cardiac Interventional Radiology position requiring RCIS or ARRT (R) certification and 2+ years of IR tech experience. Details Interventional Radiology Lab setting Supports cardiologists, radiologists, and RNs during interventional procedures 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday through Friday No weekend shift requirement, but rotating night and weekend call required Wide range of procedures including angioplasty, embolization, stent placement, biopsies, drain placements, and vascular studies Uses Siemens fluoroscopy, ultrasound, and PACS equipment Requirements RCIS or ARRT (R) certification required; CA radiology technologist license required if applicable BLS and ACLS certification required Fluoroscopy permit required Minimum 2 years of experience as an IR Technologist Prior travel experience required Skilled in vascular closure systems, EKG lead placement, sterile field maintenance, and equipment set-up Experience with IVUS preferred Additional Information Responsibilities include patient monitoring, room circulating, scrubbing in, and assisting with a wide variety of vascular, neurological, and genitourinary procedures May mentor and train students Adheres to isolation precautions and PPE protocols Accepts local candidates at local rate within a 50-mile radius Returning staff must have a 1-year separation before returning as a traveler Maximum RTO is 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request allowed per contract Must complete required lab work within 3-5 days of contract signing
