Interventional Radiology Technologist

Quick Look ARMStaffing is looking for an Interventional Radiologic Technologist, Interventional Radiology (Day Shift) in Summit, New Jersey. Location Summit, NJ Assignment Duration This is a 13-week contract position. Schedule/Shift 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM, 4 days a week.

Call required on nights and weekends, rotating every third week.

The Interventional Radiologic Technologist will assist proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases. You will need to demonstrate strong knowledge of floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines and possess the critical thinking ability to support the proceduralist effectively. Maintaining infection prevention measures and sterile technique while setting up procedural trays is crucial for this role.

Responsibilities Assist proceduralists during diagnostic and interventional cases, scrubbing side by side. Identify, retrieve, and circulate complex products during interventional procedures. Operate power injection devices for iodinated contrast media during procedures.

Communicate effectively using closed-loop communication. Manage groin sites post-intervention appropriately. Contribute positively to a multi-disciplinary team including nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons.

Document procedures using electronic medical records and send images to Sectra/PACS systems. Required Experience 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or a Cardiovascular Technologist with current NJ radiographic licensure. Certifications/Licensure Current NJ radiographic licensure.

BLS certification from an approved AHS credentialed American Heart Association or equivalent. Current Radiography (R) certification with ARRT.
