Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (L&D RN)
7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Nights)Contract: Rapid Response – 6 WeeksHours: 48 hours/week ResponsibilitiesProvide direct nursing care to laboring and high-risk OB patients. Monitor maternal and fetal status and perform intermediate fetal monitoring. Manage magnesium and insulin drips.
Provide care for high-risk and high-acuity obstetric patients. Perform circulating and scrubbing duties as required. Collaborate with physicians, CNCs, CSTs, and other members of the care team.
Maintain accurate documentation using CPN/Meditech EMR. Float within Women's Services, including Postpartum and Antepartum, as needed. Maintain a safe, efficient, and patient-focused clinical environment.
Required QualificationsActive RN license. Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience. Strong Labor & Delivery experience, preferably in a high-risk/high-volume setting.
Experience with intermediate fetal monitoring. Experience caring for high-risk OB patients. Must be comfortable with magnesium and insulin drips.
Strong teamwork and ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Required CertificationsBLSACLSNRP – IntermediateAWHONNPreferred ExperienceOBED experience. High-risk OB experience.
