Minimum of 2 years in Labor, Delivery, and RecoveryExperience with mother-baby either by floating to the mother-baby unit or caring for mothers and babies in an LDRP settingExperience with immediate newborn care including medication administration, weight, length, head circumference, and physical assessmentsRequired circulating in C-sectionsWillingness to perform charge duties or preceptRequired to float; nurses take their own patients to the operating room to assist in cesarean deliveries Top
Familiarity with Meditech is a plusProficiency in Spanish, Haitian Creole, or Cape Verdean Creole is advantageousScrubbing in C-sections is preferred but not required Duties: Collect relevant patient health data during assessmentsAnalyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnosesIdentify individualized and expected patient outcomesDevelop and implement a care plan prescribing nursing interventions to attain expected outcomesEvaluate and update patient progress
