Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Oct 12, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 2 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level III Labor & Delivery position requiring recent high-risk L&D experience and current AZ or compact RN licensure. Details Level III maternity center with 14 labor and delivery beds, a 6-bed triage department, and a 4-6 bed antepartum department Facility averages 275-300 births per month Cares for high-risk antepartum patients including PPROM, Vasa Previa, Placenta Previa, and Diabetes Management Cares for high-risk intrapartum patients including Gestational Diabetes, Gestational and Chronic Hypertension, Pre-Eclampsia, and Blood Disorders Provides immediate postpartum care for mother and neonate Assists with pre-operative, circulating, and recovery care for cesarean section deliveries Collaborates with 24-hour in-house OBGYN, Neonatologists, NNPs, and multidisciplinary team Schedule of 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30), totaling 36 expected weekly hours Must be open to work any day of the week as self-scheduling is not available Cerner EMR experience required and must be listed in employment history Requirements Active AZ or compact RN license required Minimum 1 year of recent Level III L&D experience required Current BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required AWHONN Intermediate or Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification required Experience circulating and recovering cesarean section deliveries required Cerner EMR experience required Prior experience as an L&D traveler preferred Driver's license required for consideration Date of birth and Social Security Number required for consideration Additional Information Opportunity to utilize and expand clinical skills across a wide range of maternal acuity in a collaborative environment Must reside within a 50-mile radius of the facility RTO requests should be kept to less than 7 days Returning permanent employees must obtain approval prior to consideration
