This leadership opportunity is within a Level I Maternal Care and Nursery facility focused on providing personalized, family-centered care for mothers and babies.The Director will oversee clinical operations, staff development, quality improvement, regulatory compliance, and patient care while helping drive exceptional outcomes across OB services.Responsibilities Lead and coordinate OB/Labor & Delivery operations Ensure high-quality care for mothers and babies Manage staffing, scheduling, education, and performance evaluations Lead performance and quality improvement initiatives Ensure regulatory and Joint Commission compliance Support patient flow and clinical standards Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff Coordinate patient and family educationRequirements Active Michigan RN license or eligibility Associate Degree in Nursing required; BSN preferred Labor & Delivery RN experience required 4+ years of L&D experience preferred 2+ years of healthcare leadership experience preferred BLS-HCP required NRP, AWHONN-EFM, AWHONN-POEP & STABLE required currently or within 1 yearWhy Join This Team?
