✓RNs must have competence in performing SVE and placing FSEs
✓Must be competent in managing magnesium and insulin drips
AWHONN, FHM preferred
Management of care for patients in the antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum periods preferred
Active labor preferred
Pregnancy related complications (GDM, FGR, GHTN, PreE, oligo, etc) preferred
Transition care of the newborn including medication administration preferred

  • ACLS, BLS, NRP
  • Travel experience
  • Experience with Magnesium Drips and C-Sections

Preferred: - AWHONN, FHM Patient Diagnoses: management of care for patients in the antepartum, intrapartum, and immediate postpartum periods.

Special Procedures/Unit Details: Our unit is a 28-bed unit (6 OBED, 12 LDR, 4 antepartum, 3 OR, 3 PACU). We are a level 3 NICU, managing patients down to 24 weeks. Delivery volume of 300-350 per month.

Our unit managing many high-acuity patients, requiring 1:! bedside care. All travelers are required to have a minimum of 2 years L&D experienced in a unit with comparable volumes and acuity. OR Procedures:

  • C-Section
  • D&C
  • Hysterectomy

All RNs are required to have circulating experience. RNs must have competence in performing SVE and placing FSEs. Must be competent in managing magnesium and insulin drips.
