Travel RN – Labor & Delivery (L&D) Start Date: 11/30/2026 Duration: 13 Weeks
Days, 3x12s (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) Hours: 36 hours per week Patient Ratio: 1:1–3 Travel
Required First-Time Travelers: Not accepted Charting: Epic required Position Overview: Provide Labor & Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum, and Antepartum care in an LDRP setting. Support vaginal deliveries, C-sections, postpartum recovery, antenatal testing, and postoperative gynecological care. Provide full couplet care.
Care for neonates, adolescents, and adult patients. Unit capacity: 18 beds and 18 rooms. Float within the facility or to other departments/facilities as needed.
Two mandatory on-call shifts per 6-week schedule. Weekend requirement: Approximately 4–6 weekend shifts plus 2 Fridays per 6-week schedule.
Minimum 3 years of L&D nursing experience. Previous travel experience required. BLS, Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM), and NRP required.
AWHONN Advanced and AWHONN Intermediate preferred. Community hospital experience preferred. Active Missouri or Compact RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted.
Important Notes: No more than 2 RTO requests. No block scheduling. No guaranteed hours.
Local candidates are not accepted; candidates must live at least 75 miles from the facility. Flu vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions only. Navy scrubs provided.
