$2,020 - $2,130 Start Date: 10/05/2026 Duration: 13 weeks Shift Duration: 12-hour nights

3 shifts per week; every other weekend and holidays as scheduled Hours per Week: 36 Setting: Labor & Delivery / Obstetrics / Mother Baby Environment: Unit-based care with opportunities to flex between Labor & Delivery and Mother Baby Job Requirements Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice or compact license eligibility Minimum of 1 year of RN experience required Recent OB, ED, or critical care experience preferred BLS preferred upon hire, with completion prior to direct patient care; ACLS may be accepted in lieu of BLS NRP preferred at hire, with completion within 3 months of hire Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification preferred if interpreting fetal monitoring BSN preferred Comfortable working nights, high-acuity situations, and a collaborative interdisciplinary team environment Responsibilities Provide compassionate, patient-centered care for women, newborns, and families across the labor and delivery, postpartum, triage, and obstetrics setting Perform assessments, develop care plans, and evaluate outcomes throughout the course of care Monitor fetal and maternal status, including electronic fetal monitoring and OB-related assessments Support labor management, triage, stabilization, and emergency response as needed Assist with circulating and recovering C-sections; scrub experience is a plus but not required Administer medications safely and coordinate care with the interdisciplinary healthcare team Educate patients and families on breastfeeding, self-care, newborn care, discharge planning, and follow-up Contribute to a safe, supportive, and efficient unit environment while adapting to changing patient needs Apply now to join this travel nursing opportunity in Lorain, Ohio, and make a meaningful impact in women’s health and maternal-newborn care.
