Facility Type: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital Total Staffed Beds: 49 Trauma Level: Level IV Required Certifications ACLS AWHONN Intermediate BLS FHM (Fetal Heart Monitoring) NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients throughout labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. Monitor maternal vital signs, uterine contractions, and fetal heart rates. Assist physicians with deliveries and manage obstetric emergencies.
Provide care for OB triage and outpatient patients as needed. Assist with postpartum and nursery care based on patient volume and staffing needs. Maintain accurate documentation and follow AWHONN guidelines and facility protocols.
Work independently in a rural hospital setting and collaborate with available backup staff when needed. Schedule & Requirements Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule. On-Call: Not required.
Floating: No required floating to other units. Block Scheduling: Not required. Patient Ratios: Variable. 48-Hour
