12-hour nights; 36 hrs/week. EMR: Epic; EFM system is Centricity Perinatal. Floating: No floating outside the department or to NICU.
Must work in L&D and postpartum/mother-baby, including routine mom/baby care, newborn transitions, and low-risk deliveries.
2+ years required; no first-time travelers. Must have LDRP experience and independently attend deliveries and circulate for C-sections. Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend; night shift requires Friday and Saturday nights.
BLS, NRP. Intermediate or Advanced FHM preferred. Unit: Birthing Center/L&D with 13 L&D beds, 2 C-section OR suites, 2 triage beds, and 14 postpartum beds.
Handles approximately 170–190 births/month, including high-risk pregnancies. Ratios: 1:2 in L&D and 1:3–4 couplets. Must titrate magnesium, Pitocin, and insulin.
