Days, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Oct 5, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 2 Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 3 years of L&D experience and AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring certification. Details 12-hour shifts, 3 days a week on a rotating schedule from 7:00am to 7:00pm Patient population includes females of childbearing age, pregnant from 17 weeks gestation, laboring patients, and those undergoing scheduled procedures such as C-sections, external cephalic versions, and cerclage Unit activity includes admissions, discharges, transfers, pre-op care, and deliveries (vaginal and C-section) Uses Fetal Monitors, Cerner, and Fetalink documentation systems Requirements Active TX or compact RN license required, no pending licenses accepted Graduate of an accredited or NLN-approved RN program required BSN highly desired NRP, BLS, and ACLS certifications required (AHA only) AWHONN Intermediate Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification required 3 years of L&D experience required At least 2 years of prior work experience in a US hospital in the specialty area required Two manager or supervisor references verifying experience within the last 12 months preferred, with at least one from the most recent employer US SSN required for consideration Additional Information Must reside at least 100 miles from the facility, no local candidates accepted RTO must be disclosed prior to consideration
