This is a great opportunity for a Pathologists’ Assistant looking for a short-term travel contract with the potential to transition into ongoing per diem work after the assignment.

Master’s degree
Hospital clinical laboratory experience Certification: ASCP or ASCP-PA preferred EPIC experience required Surgical Pathology Experience Candidates should be comfortable with: Performing gross examination and dissection of small biopsies and large/complex specimens Providing macroscopic descriptions of gross anatomic features Sectioning surgical pathology specimens Preparing tissue for histological processing Specimen receipt, identification, and labeling Specimen Processing & Handling Experience should include: Gross and microscopic photography Image analysis Obtaining and reviewing relevant patient clinical information, including scans, X-rays, and laboratory results We’re looking for a skilled Pathologists’ Assistant who can confidently step into a hospital laboratory environment and contribute to the team throughout this short-term assignment.
