LCSW Social Worker

• – LCSW Social Worker POSITION DUTIES – Provides comprehensive psychosocial assessment, counseling, care coordination, discharge planning, patient and family education, and community resource referrals for adult and pediatric patients, while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, maintaining clinical documentation, supporting continuity of care, and contributing to staff and student education. MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS –
• Current Clinical Social Work License issued by the Board of Behavioral Sciences in CA
• 2 years recent social work experience in an acute care hospital
• Travel experience (at least 1 other contract)
• Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and accreditation standards, including JCAHO, Health Department, and Child Abuse Registry requirements.
• Excellent customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a complex healthcare environment and collaborate across departments.
• Capable of managing workload efficiently while maintaining productivity and quality standards.
• Proficient in building professional relationships and communicating clearly in written and spoken English.
