Days, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 16, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is seeking an RN for an LTAC ICU position requiring ACLS, BLS, and 1 year of ICU experience with Epic charting. Details LTAC ICU unit setting Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours (6:45 AM - 7:15 PM) Patient ratio of 1:5 to 1:6 Performs specialized procedures including TPN, wound care, drain management, foley catheter care, and narcotic administration Epic EMR experience required Block scheduling considered No call-in requirements Requirements Active compact or LA RN license required in hand at time of submission Current ACLS and BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of nursing experience required LTAC experience preferred but not required Epic charting system experience required Driver's license required for consideration Up-to-date NURSYS report required (within 4 weeks of submission) 2 Manager/Supervisor references required prior to starting contract (Charge RNs not accepted) Additional Information Provide ICU-level nursing care for LTAC patients, including medication management, respiratory and ventilator support, renal and endocrine care, wound care, and cardiac monitoring May be assigned to an Emergency Team requiring extended stay at the facility during emergency events Must be willing to work 2 of 4 designated holiday periods annually (Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) Orientation held 5 days a week First-time travelers will be considered for this position Candidates must reside more than 65 miles from the facility; local candidates not accepted Former permanent staff or in-house agency contractors must be separated from the health system for 1 full year before returning as a traveler All RTO must be disclosed on profile and discussed during interview to avoid offer rescission
