Variable, 4.5x8hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Oct 26, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Long Term Care/Skilled Nursing Facility position requiring 2 years of experience and a Day/Evening schedule with rotating weekends and holidays. Details Post-acute LTC/SNF setting with 42 beds Patient population includes LTC, memory care, dementia, and ortho diagnoses with no current behavioral risks Staffing ratio of 2 nurses during day/evening shifts and 1 nurse overnight Uses Point Click Care (PCC) EMR Schedule includes Day and Evening shifts, combination of 8s and 12s (6a-2p, 6a-6p, or 2p-10p) Every other weekend and every other holiday rotation required No on-call or call-back responsibilities Overtime available Requirements Active SD or compact RN license required BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Driver's license required for consideration Two professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months worked and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years worked, including employment dates and rehire eligibility Additional Information Provide nursing care within a long-term care/skilled nursing facility setting Location-specific orientation covers building orientation and lift equipment, approximately 2-4 hours Local candidates accepted at a reduced rate within an 80-mile radius Candidates residing outside the 80-mile radius are eligible for standard travel rates First-time travelers may be considered for this position
