Minimum
- 1 year Does not have to have LTC experience but emphasize that it is LTC facility Will accept a first-time traveler Patient Types Travelers are Expected to Care for: Convalescent long-term care Post stroke with long term deficiencies CHF Hospice Respite care IDDM No vents/trachs currently Medication pass on nights is minimal. Most residents do not take meds after 22:00. One blood sugar check for diabetic patients currently scheduled for the morning Most residents are NOT full codes. There are protocols in place to follow if a code situation should arise. All CNAs are trained to participate in CPR. Being attached to the hospital nurses from that facility can respond quickly if an emergency does arise. On Nights charting requirements are minimal RN/LPN: 1:20
