- Graduate from an accredited school of Practical Nursing in the State of Illinois and currently licensed as a Practical Nurse in the State of Illinois.
- BLS certification
- Successful completion of coursework for medication administration (Pharmacology) as a Practical Nurse in accordance with the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) regarding Standards of Pharmacology/Administration for Medication Course for Practical Nurses (Must provide documentation if requested)
- Must pass a Department of Corrections (DOC) background check. A PREA form and a copy of the candidate's State ID or Driver License (front and back) are required to complete the background check
Two (2) years of recent full-time paid clinical experience in an acute care health facility or ambulatory care facility Call
N/A Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend/ 2 weekends per month RTO: 5 days max with no more than 2 consecutive. No holiday RTO. No RTO the day before or after a holiday.
