UW Health Rehabilitation Hospital is a free-standing, 50-bed acute inpatient rehabilitation facility located on the east side of Madison, Wisconsin. Our rehabilitation hospital offers specialized programs for people who have experienced stroke, brain and spinal-cord injuries, amputations, complex orthopedic injuries and other conditions requiring inpatient rehabilitative services. Our goal is to help patients achieve their highest level of recovery with a goal of returning home as soon as able. - Additional Notes: Our inpatient rehab hospital can high acuity at times and functions very similarly to a medical surgical unit. All nurses are required to jump in and help the C.N.As and answer call lights for patient safety.
- Attendance Policy : All agency will adhere to our internal attendance and tardy policy.
- Scheduling and Time Keeping : 30-minute breaks are mandatory unless approved by the supervisor. Staff must clock out for 30 minutes each shift. Staff will have (2)- 15 minute paid breaks for a 12-hour shift. Staff are not permitted to stay past their shift end time unless approved by the house supervisor. Unit Information:
