  • CARDIOLOGY CLINIC EXPERIENCE REQUIRED A S A P START
  • General Information:
  • 353 Fairmont Blvd., Rapid City, SD
  • Clinics will have up to 22 patients per day
  • Minimum required experience - 1 year of Clinic experience required
  • Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes, with Clinic experience of any kind
  • Travelers must live >100 miles away from facility
  • Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler
  • Patient Types:
  • Cardiology background: General Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Vascular Surgery
  • Patient Ratios:
  • Will see 22 patients per day
  • Required
  • LPN: BLS
  • Education Required:
  • Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
  • Skills required:
  • LPN: Clinic experience required. Cardiology experience required.
  • Support on the Unit:
  • EKG tech
  • Clinical Assistants (3) - 1 CA per 10 rooms
  • LPN
  • Lead RN
  • Nursing Manager (RN)
  • Charting System:
  • Epic (required)
  • Floating: If yes, where?
  • Only within the Cardiology clinic
  • Orientation: (facility and unit)
  • Facility per protocol and 3-4 days on unit side by side with nurse
  • Scheduling:
  • Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm
  • Weekend rotation: no weekends
  • Will they be on call? If so, what is that schedule? No call
  • Holiday Expectations: 2/4 required
  • Day after Thanksgiving is considered a Holiday
  • Approval of time off? Contract extension to have a total of 13 weeks for any full week off
