- HVI has several clinics within it. This is the Cardiology Clinic
- Travelers must live >100 miles away from facility
- Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler

- 1 year of Clinic experience required, cardiology experience preferred
- Will you accept a first-time traveler? No, unless candidate has worked specifically in a Cardiac/Cardiovascular Clinic for minimum 1 year
- Patient Types:
- General Cardiology, Electrophysiology, Vascular Surgery, arrythmias, shortness of breath, referrals, cardiac clearances, hypertension, POTs, swelling, CHF management, abnormal stress tests, pre/post cath patients
- Patient Ratios:
- Will see around 22 patients per day
- Required
- RN or LPN: BLS
- Education Required:
- Completion of a nursing education program that is approved by a board of nursing
- Skills required:
- Must be knowledgeable with cardiac diagnoses above and providing education on them, as well as medication education for cardiac meds. Must be comfortable providing education pre/post cardiac procedures, able to identify and flag abnormal EKGs. CA will typically room patients, but could assist with this as well
- EPIC experience required within last 1-2 years
- Cardiac Clinic experience preferred

- EKG tech

- Charting System:
- EMR: EPIC - experience required within last 1-2 years
- Med Dispensing: Omnicell
- Floating:
- Possible to float within HVI Cardiac Clinics
- Orientation: (facility and unit)
- Facility per protocol and 3-4 days on unit side by side with nurse
- Scheduling:
- Weekend rotation: no weekends
- Will they be on call? No call
- Holiday Expectations: 2/4 required
- Day after Thanksgiving is considered a Holiday
- Approval of time off? To go through manager
