Days, 5x8hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Nov 30, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of experience in mammography and ARRT-M certification for a hospital-based cancer center. Details Work within the Cancer Center, located on campus and connected to the Main Hospital Mammography unit with 3 beds and an average census of 50 patients per day Patient population is mostly adult females, with occasional males and younger females Perform screenings, diagnostics, biopsies, and stereotactic biopsies using both upright and table units Uses Cerner EMR, GE PACS, and Hologic mammography equipment Monday through Friday schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM No weekend rotation or on-call requirements Facility closes for holidays No floating required unless familiar with Dexa scans Requirements Minimum of 2 years of experience in mammography BLS and ARRT-M certification required State license required if applicable Proficiency with screening mammography required; biopsy experience preferred but not required Dexa and contrast-enhanced mammography experience preferred but not required Additional Information Work alongside a team of 5 mammography technologists, a manager/supervisor, and on-site radiologists Facility provides 24/7 support including Rapid Response/Code Team, RT, Hospitalist, and Intensivist coverage Orientation includes NEO followed by unit-specific training during the first week Scrubs must be any solid professional color with no graphics, logos, or designs Free parking available on site First-time travelers will be considered for this position
