- A leading healthcare system in Cleveland is seeking experienced Registered Nurses to join its Community Living Center team. This position provides comprehensive nursing care for adult patients requiring long-term care, rehabilitation services, skilled nursing support, chronic disease management, and complex medical care.The RN will work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary healthcare team to provide high-quality, patient-centered care while promoting safety, dignity, and quality of life for residents.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing monitoringAdminister medications and evaluate treatment effectivenessProvide IV therapy and fluid replacementMonitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms when indicatedCoordinate admissions, discharges, and patient transfersCollaborate with physicians, therapists, case managers, and ancillary staffDelegate and supervise nursing assistants and support personnelComplete accurate electronic medical record documentationRespond to medical emergencies and changes in patient conditionPerform central line care and maintenanceManage anticoagulation therapies including heparin dripsProvide chest tube and drainage tube managementPerform Foley catheter and ostomy careDeliver wound care and wound vacuum therapy managementAssess and manage acute and chronic painSupport pre-operative and post-operative patient careAdminister blood products and monitor for adverse reactionsProvide oncology-related symptom managementSupport rehabilitation and neurological recovery plansMonitor for sepsis, respiratory compromise, cardiac events, and other acute conditionsParticipate in quality improvement initiatives and departmental meetingsMaintain compliance with all clinical, regulatory, and patient safety standardsQualificationsGraduate of an ACEN or CCNE accredited School of NursingActive Ohio RN License or active Compact RN LicenseCurrent American Heart Association CPR CertificationCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationMinimum two (2) years of direct patient care experience within the last three (3) yearsStrong clinical assessment and critical thinking skillsExperience with telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation preferredProficiency with electronic health record documentationAbility to communicate effectively in EnglishAbility to meet all credentialing and onboarding requirementsFlexibility to work days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as neededPreferred ExperienceMedical
