Registered Nurse - Medical / Surgical / Telemetry Float Pool (Med-Surg / Tele RN) – Day Shift
Day Shift | 3x12-Hour Shifts | 07:00 – 19:00 | 36 Hours per Week Schedule Structure: 12-hour day shifts. Weekend & Holiday Coverage: Standard float pool rotational schedule guidelines apply. On-Call / Standby: Standard department schedule guidelines apply.
Location Region: Johnson City, New York (NY) | United Health Services (UHS) Wilson Medical Center Submission Hardstops [STRICT & NON-NEGOTIABLE] Clinical Experience Baseline [HARDSTOP]: Minimum 6 months to 3 years (or 5+ years preferred direct clinical experience) of dedicated nursing experience strictly required [HARDSTOP]. Previous acute care clinical nursing experience strictly required [HARDSTOP]. Verified clinical experience managing Med-Surg and Telemetry patient populations strictly required [HARDSTOP].
EMR Proficiency: Hands-on Epic EMR experience strictly required [HARDSTOP]. Mandatory Floating: Candidate must be fully willing and documented to float across all Med-Surg and Telemetry units [HARDSTOP]. Education Requirements [HARDSTOP]: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (Minimum Associate's Degree required; BSN preferred) [HARDSTOP].
State Licensure [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active New York State Registered Nurse (NYS RN) License strictly required IN-HAND at time of submission [HARDSTOP]. Certifications [IN-HAND AT SUBMISSION - HARDSTOP]: Active BLS (Basic Life Support) certification (AHA, HSI, or American Red Cross) strictly required IN-HAND at submission [HARDSTOP].
