Med-Surg/Telemetry RN - Travel Assignment Summary Unit: Med-Surg / Telemetry
Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM Contract Length: Up to 26 weeks (preference should be noted in submission) Guaranteed Hours: 36 or 48 hours/week First-Time Travelers: Accepted Experience Required: 2 years overall RN experience Specialty Requirement: Minimum 1 year Med-Surg experience; MS/Tele experience required Charting: Epic experience required
BLS required Scheduling & Floating Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend Call: None Floating: As needed to similar Med-Surg units Holiday Requests: No holiday RTO guaranteed; requests reviewed by manager based on unit needs Patient Ratios Night Shift Ratio: 1:5-6 No LPN coverage on nights Charge nurse is free when fully staffed (5 RNs) When staffing is lower, charge nurse may carry patients Common Patient Diagnoses Pneumonia Heart Failure GI Bleed DKA Altered Mental Status (AMS) Sepsis Important Notes Local travelers within 50 miles are subject to a local rate Additional shifts may be available PRN
