Title: Travel Registered Nurse (RN) – Medical-Surgical Location: Morgantown, WV Contract: 13 Weeks Start Date: November 16, 2026

3x12 or 4x12-hour shifts Position Overview Seeking experienced Medical-Surgical Registered Nurses (RNs) for a 13-week travel assignment on its 34-bed medical-surgical unit. Nurses will care for adult patients with a variety of acute medical and surgical conditions in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients.

Assess patient conditions and monitor changes in clinical status. Administer medications, IV therapies, and blood products. Provide wound care, central line management, and respiratory support.

Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies. Care for patients with neurological, gastrointestinal, renal, and orthopedic conditions. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure quality patient outcomes.

Requirements Minimum 2 years of RN experience . Active West Virginia or Compact RN license; pending license accepted at submission. BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required.

Cerner charting experience required. Teaching hospital experience required. Strong medical-surgical nursing and patient assessment skills.

Must live more than 100 miles from the facility. Candidates 75–100 miles away may be considered for facility approval. Schedule & Contract Details Night shifts with weekday and weekend scheduling.

Patient ratio: approximately 1:5–7 . 13-week contract with possible extension. Block scheduling requests are not guaranteed. No travel experience required.

Flu vaccine required; medical exemptions only. Attendance is important: the facility allows only 2–3 call-offs per contract . Non-billable orientation and modules are required.
