3 days/week | 12-hour shifts Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours/week Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Provide Med Surg observation and inpatient nursing care. Perform patient assessments, care planning, interventions, and reassessments. Administer medications, IV therapy, oxygen therapy, and blood products.
Operate infusion pumps and document patient care in Cerner EHR using Care Compass. Monitor cardiac rhythms and changes in patient condition. Educate patients and families on treatment, medications, wound care, and discharge plans.
Communicate patient updates to providers and use SBAR during handoffs. Follow infection control, patient safety, and confidentiality standards. Collaborate with the healthcare team and mentor nursing staff.
Minimum 5 years of Med Surg or ER experience. Previous travel nursing experience required. Current Colorado or Compact RN license.
Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Cerner EHR experience required. Graduate of an accredited RN program.
Basic computer skills and electronic health record experience. Strong clinical judgment, teamwork, adaptability, and ability to work independently.
