(List Format):

  • Role: Interdisciplinary team member providing and managing patient care (traveler/contract RN)
  • Orientation: 16 hours (NBO), start dates 10/26 or 11/9
  • EMR: EPIC
  • Pay Details:
  • OT/Holiday: 1.15x pay
  • Call Back: 1.5x pay, 2-hour minimum
  • On Call: $9/hr
  • Charge/Precept: $6/hr
  • OT billable after 40 hours (if scheduled 36-40/wk) or after 48 hours (if scheduled 48/wk)
  • Work
  • Required to work 2 of 3 winter holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Day, New Year’s Day)
  • Only 1 day off allowed during 11/25-11/29 and 12/23-12/27
  • Unit Details:
  • Patient Ratio: 6:1
  • Must float to other med-surg units as needed
  • Patient types: Neuro/Ortho, MedSurg
  • Scrub color: Navy Blue
  • Submission/Eligibility
  • Minimum 1.5 years experience (required)
  • Experience with Heparin (required)
  • First-time travelers accepted
  • Must be willing to float within discipline across local campuses
  • No local candidates (must live 50+ miles away)
  • Must not have worked as FTE or PRN at UPH in the last 12 months
