Nights, 3x12hrs Hours: 36 hrs/wk Start Date: Oct 26, 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Description American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring at least 2 years of specialty experience and one prior 13-week travel assignment. Details Surg/Nursing unit within a hospital setting 12-hour night shift schedule (1700-0500), 3 days per week, 36 hours per week Floating between departments and/or local facilities within 20 miles is required EPIC EMR experience preferred; on-site training available Requirements Active NM or Compact State RN license required BLS certification through American Heart Association, American Health and Safety, or American Red Cross ADN or ASN degree required Minimum 2 years current experience in specialty required At least one prior 13-week travel assignment required Must be a team player, flexible, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment Additional Information Provides direct patient care including assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and documentation Coordinates care with patients, families, and the healthcare team Administers medications and treatments per physician orders and established protocols Provides clinical supervision of LPNs and non-licensed assistive personnel Completes population-specific and procedure/protocol education and competency testing per unit standards Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible; local candidates not accepted Previous permanent staff must wait one year before being eligible to return as a traveler First-time travelers may be considered given required travel assignment experience
