Travel Nursing Job Details Location: Wausau, Wisconsin Weekly Estimated

$2,370–$2,500 Start Date: October 26, 2026 Contract Duration: 13 weeks

8-hour day shifts, approximately 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; start and end times may vary based on patient census Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week Weekend and Holiday Coverage: Approximately every fifth weekend and holiday rotation On-Call: Approximately 2–3 times per month Patient Visits: Approximately 4.5 visits per day, with an average daily travel range of 25–60 miles Service Area: Primarily Wausau, with limited potential coverage in Medford, Antigo, or Wisconsin Rapids Dress Code: Navy blue scrubs Home Health RN Job Requirements Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or a valid compact-state license At least 2 years of recent home health nursing experience Previous travel nursing experience required Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association or American Red Cross Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation Associate degree or nursing certificate required Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred OASIS certification preferred Experience with OASIS documentation and Epic Remote Client or Remote Care preferred Strong communication, organization, time-management, and clinical documentation skills Compassionate, dependable, adaptable, and accountable approach to patient care Home Health Registered Nurse Responsibilities Provide skilled nursing assessments, treatments, and interventions for patients receiving care at home Complete OASIS admissions, required time-point assessments, and episode management Coordinate home health care with physicians, caregivers, interdisciplinary team members, and community resources Manage provider calls, follow-up needs, and changes in patient condition Deliver clinically proficient care involving wound care, IV therapy, port access, laboratory draws, and chronic disease management Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and in a timely manner within the electronic medical record Plan daily travel efficiently while maintaining high-quality, patient-centered care Participate in weekend, holiday, and on-call rotations as scheduled Remain flexible and resilient when patient census, territory needs, or schedules change Apply now to join our healthcare team as a Travel Home Health Registered Nurse in Wausau, Wisconsin, and make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives.
